The Company information

Helicopter Center GALS was founded in 1997 in the city of Moscow. The major objective facing the Company was adaptation of the best helicopter models to the Russian and CIS countries market. From the very beginning of its activity helicopter center GALS has been conducting such works as: a qualitative pickup of aircraft, preparation of a helicopter for the further operation, maintenance organization, performing training and business flights. Since 1997 GALS Company has been taking part at the basic air shows.

Since 1998 the Company’s employees have been conducting works on market monitoring intended for demand analysis for helicopter technics. The leading foreign helicopter manufacturing companies have been brought in contact. Since 1999 GALS Company has been a dealer on Russian territory of the American light helicopters manufacturer Robinson Helicopters Company.

In 2002 together with State structure ROSTO was established ATSK «GALS ROSTO» for technical assistance of helicopter technics of foreign manufacturer.

In 2004 GALS becomes general distributor of MD Helicopters Inc. and has effected delivery of two helicopter types MD 500 and MD 600.

In October 2004 helicopter center GALS and Mont Blanc Helicopters company had signed Technical Support Partnership Agreement on Eurocopter production in Russia and CIS countries.

In January 2005 on the MDHI factory took place a solemn transfer procedure of new MD 520N helicopter, of serial number 100 to the General Distributor in Russia and CIS countries – to Helicopter Center GALS.

In March 2006 applied to IAC for certification in Russia of the entire MD Helicopters line. The expected Certificate reception date – February 2007.
