Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) has completed certification of MD Explorer helicopter and its modifications. Issued Type Certificate №CT284-MD900 from November 21, 2008 and Noise Certificate afield № СШ180-MD900. The helicopter is admitted to commercial operation on the Russian Federation territory.

MDHI Company took second place on the Aviation International News (AIN) Product Support Survey 2007 prestigious rating, which reflects operators and technicians opinion regarding the quality of technical support and helicopters after-sales service. At such positions as “Parts cost” and authorized maintenance centers MD Helicopters Inc. took first place.

Mesa, Arizona, May 2, 2007 - MD Helicopters Company announced, that the primary Company’s target to «revitalize American heritage» has been reached today. Standing on a two-year anniversary threshold of the Company’s acquisition by the investment fund Patriarch Partners, Board Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Lynn Tilton said that today «MDHI – it’s a strong viable company guided by the world-class managers, offering customers the products they like».

This year MD had delivered 10 helicopters, planning the supply of more 33 helicopters. This fiscal year the Company is planning to ship 43 helicopters, and 85 units in the year of 2008. The sales of scope like that had not occured since 1999.

«We sell, manufacture and supply helicopters, as also build up rational, vertically integrated company», claimed Lynn Tilton. Production capacities of the Company in Monterrey (Mexico) are put into operation at a full pace and are ready for shipment of 23 fuselages for one-engine helicopters to the factory in Mesa. The Heritage Aviation Company with its capabilities in production of spare parts and details is also making a considerable contribution in increasing of MD Helicopters Company self-sustainability level.
